A DevOps exercise pairing OpenAI embeddings with MongoDB on a Kubernetes cluster — the first time the lab ran a model-backed service as real infrastructure.
A 2024 project that treated an embedding service like any other workload: containerized, deployed to the cluster, backed by MongoDB, and monitored. The value was less the vectors than the muscle memory of running AI components with the same discipline as everything else in the lab.
